The Digidash2 system comprises a display module and a datalogger. The compact and lightweight display module may be mounted on a suitable steering wheel or on the dashboard. It connects to the separate datalogger via a thin flexible cable.

PC software tools are also supplied to run on a Windows™ operating system. These tools allow data to be downloaded from the datalogger for analysis via the supplied RS232 serial cable. The system can be set up without using the PC software tools but to get the full benefit of the system use of the tools is recommended. |
At the top of the display module there is a set of programmable shift lights. Beneath this, there is a three digit LED display that can be set up to show RPM, speed, the current gear selected or warning alarms. The large, centrally placed, green LCD display can be programmed to show many other parameters including lap times, trip distance, fuel levels and acceleration forces (using the supplied 2-axis G sensor). Finally, there are indicator lights built in for functions such as main beam and indicators. This feature will benefit the Fury builder intending to put his car through the SVA test.
